Who's laughing Now???

A buddy sent this to me.

I'm getting cynical. So what? I think this pretty much sums it up though. Click on the image if you want to read the fine print.

Although I have tried to remain a-political on this blog, something snapped when I opened my retirement account statement the other day. It was almost like I went back in time to 1998, at least financially. (it would be nice to get my hair back, though)

Odds are even with the bailout from the Bush/Fed Secret TARP slush fund, Chrysler will not exist in any meaningful form within 2 years unless they get bought by someone with a lot of money (i.e. not Ford or Chevy - think "please do not be offering my god a peanut"). But yeah, gotta love the egos on these CEOs. I'd work for a $1 salary too if my BONUS was $45 million. They do have it rought the poor dears, I am thinking of holding a bake sale. Know a good place to get arsenic?

Add to that the lovely fact that the bailout money will go in great part to organized labor. I'm not against fair wages and benefits, only against $120/hour carpenters. It's galling to a degree that exceeds my ability to be galled.
